- Guardian ranks will carry over to the next season, but need to be renewed to keep for the season after that (like a form of guilding)
- Returning players not start at 5 instead of 6, and ranks 5 to 7 will be easier to accomplish
- Reducing requirements for commendations in guardian ranks
- Adding Best Dressed commendation
- Difficulty adjustments for Legend/Master activities
- Scoring adjustments for nightfalls
- Improved Terminal Overload matchmaking
- Exotic armor focusing
- Exotic armor updates for 15 pieces next season
- New armor mods coming next season
- Shoot to Loot being updated to collect orbs of power
- New Strand Aspects
- Swapping out single Artifact Mod Perks instead of fully resetting
- No power level increase next season

- GMs start April 11th
- First up is Proving Grounds
- Buzzard and Swarm are the new weapons this season
- 1815 is the power cap for GMs, enemies are 1840
- GMs will have one 25% burn, and two 25% surges and overcharged weapons
- Several adjustments coming midseason for Heist Battlegrounds
